Another Moment in Time

This past Saturday we went down to Pacific Grove to visit Grammy and Grampy, and go to a special insect show at the museum. We also did another recreation photo like the one we did last year. This time we copied a photo of Devon with grandparents Ralph and Mildred, taken in the exact same spot in their backyard. The patio is due for a remodel soon, but you can still see the same stains on the concrete!

Santa Cruz County Fair 2008

We did the fair last night and had a wonderful time. Seeing it with Fiona means that we spent less time in the horticulture and arts, and more with the livestock. She had lots of fun and this morning when she woke up said that she wants to go again. I don't know if she has the concept of an annual event yet.

Here is fiona in the bike wagon downtown the other day. But the funnier part is this...Fiona playing hide and seek:



We count to 5 and she hides, in obvious and common places like behind the door of her room or on the chair like this.

Also, she has been telling the same joke for a while now we thought we should share it with y'all,

Where does baby _(name)____ poo?
In his/her NAPPY!!!!!!!!!

Then she laughs in a disgusted sort of way and repeats the joke again.

At least she keeps things simple for her tired parents.

Just when we thought....

Just when we thought life couldn't get much sweeter. Fiona had a dry nappy last night. We're thinking about putting her to bed without any soon. We'll keep you posted on this.

Sorry for the break in posting...
We had Brian and Liv and baby Lyle to visit over the weekend.
Many tantrums continue but by all current information are normal.
Fiona was out of school for the week so that they could have a summer break.
Keeping up with life here, all is good.
