Still staring

Here is what we love to stare at. Fiona sleeping. She's not quiet, snores like a train. Don't know who she gets that from. Were back healthy and sleeping well through the night. Hope you are too.

Library morning

e

We went to the library this morning and made it in time for Story/music time with the teacher there. Fiona managed to get herself on to the computer (educational program of course) and we even managed to get out of there with a couple of books.
Notice her coat, made by Great Grandmother Beryl and worn by the Alcorn girls before Fiona. Thanks for that Beryl.

And here's a great one from last night's bath. Wild hair in need of brushing all the time. We have found the best place to rid her of tangles is in the bath. She really dislikes hair brushing, as did I when I was little. She does love the bath though so that balances things.

Spring Arrives

Asleep in 15 knots and 8 foot swell.

With Maya on Califia

We seem to have survived the threat of loss of nap. Since the last post fiona has taken napping up again, much to our relief! Indeed she even managed to sleep through our weekend sail yesterday. She did wake up at the end again to play on the boat with her friend and babysitter Maya.

After the last illness (snot and fevers and cough) she has a couple of days of clear nose and then picked up another bug, this time without a cough or fever so we are happily wiping noses and thanking our lucky stars for the quiet nights.

We have made headway back into sleeping through the night. I think that there have been about 5 in a row now. so we are all feeling better and getting along. After a month of the crying in the night we were all a little rattled. We have put a hold on fiona's TV intake as part of this. We're settling for the simpler stuff and getting out as spring time happens around us. The time change didn't mess us up too much either.
YAY!!

Life is good, we are happy, we are sleeping again, and we have made it to the longer days. We hope you are all well and happy too.
Love
Louise
