Fiona is walking along slowly holding the edge of the couch now. It's hard to believe that she's so "competent" when it seems, not so long ago we brought this little angry bundle home from the hospital. At the same time it is hard to imagine that we ever were without her....funny that.

Almost Walking
Fiona is walking along slowly holding the edge of the couch now. It's hard to believe that she's so "competent" when it seems, not so long ago we brought this little angry bundle home from the hospital. At the same time it is hard to imagine that we ever were without her....funny that.

Well, her mum's first independent steps were at just about 9 months, and Fiona seems right on track for that. This capacity was always attributed to the fact that she was so little (only 19 lbs by the time she was 12 months old.)
Perhaps it's a genetic athletic ability. I'm sure there's heaps of nature with that nurture.... though her Uncle Ben would no doubt beg to differ.
