Hi All,
We have a new toy for the family, A bike trailer hereafter referred to as the "bike wagon."
Its wonderful for riding around town and being able to carry all the things a busy girl like Fiona needs. We went to the Farmers market this morning and as we were leaving we bumped into a friend with her newish baby. Fiona sitting back int he wagon, pushed her sunglasses down to the end of her nose and peered over them to say hello to the baby and mum. V. cool.
We're looking forward to a warm week here in santa cruz so we'll be at the pool some days for sure. Fiona is getting good at jumping into mum or dad's waiting arms. She Does really well and is getting more and more confident in the water. Still a bit small for swimming lessons but the is clearly gifted with the kicking and blowing bubbles already.

I love it. How does it hook on to the bike? How is it on the hills?
Yeah I have seen these, and to be honest would be too scared to use one! I think Santa Cruz is OK, but in Brissy peak hour traffic I freak out with these people with babies dangling off the back of bikes - it just seems so vulnerable!!! But I can imagine it would be perfect for cruising down the Santa Cruz hills, which are much more calm and civilised than here!! It must be great fun for Fiona too!! Vroom vroom baby Fi :-) xx
Is the streamlining for high speed events ? Fun for Fiona, not so much fun on Laurel street. Beryl
Its fine on the hills... better than the bike seat, you can stand up to pedal without changing your balance. There aren't many high speed events in our life these days beryl. Carries groceries and does the preschool run nicely though.
