Santa Cruz County Fair 2008
We did the fair last night and had a wonderful time. Seeing it with Fiona means that we spent less time in the horticulture and arts, and more with the livestock. She had lots of fun and this morning when she woke up said that she wants to go again. I don't know if she has the concept of an annual event yet.

ps we skipped the 'show' this year, and i felt bad, but in brissy entry is about 50 bucks each plus show rides and bags (plus you get the flu thrown in as some kind of carnie guarantee ;-) but gee, this does look good, and makes me think we should go next year :-)
The Adelaide show has been on at the same time... I missed it beacuse I was visiting various offspring in various cities and there is only so much energy to go around.
I should say that Louise (and Ben and Nick) has been to the Adelaide show and that she really liked the chooks.
Today is the Kapunda celtic festival too.... but I need some more "non festival" days.... perhaps I am getting old??!!??!!
I's all good. the garden is growing, the chooks are laying and all is right with the world....
